Recently new federal legislation was passed that allows Internet Service Providers to sell their customers’ web browsing history. Big Sandy Library Receives Grants from Triangle and FRS

Triangle Communications (Triangle), on behalf of The Foundation for Rural Service (FRS), recently presented the Chouteau County Library Foundation a grant in the amount of $2,500.  The money assisted the Big Sandy Library to complete a new four-station public use computer center in their recently completed library building. Triangle 2016 Annual Meeting of Members Well Attended

Triangle Mailing Out Capital Credit Checks

The Triangle Telephone Cooperative, doing business as Triangle Communications (Triangle), Board of Trustees approved a general retirement of capital credits of approximately $861,120.67.  This sum represents 30% of the capital credits earned by members in 1991 and 0.005% (1/2 of 1%) of those earned from 1992 to 2015.  Triangle is mailing out capital credit checks to current and former cooperative members the beginning of October. ...

Triangle Removing Aerial Cable in Town of Chester

Triangle Communications (Triangle) crews will be in the town of Chester soon to remove the aerial cable.  The copper cable is no longer needed with the new fiber optic cable that is connected to each home and business in Chester.  The work will take some time to complete and crews will have to enter yards to remove the old cable attachment from the homes and businesses.  Triangle appreciates the patience and cooperation...
